26 people turned up for Monday night's tournament - most of them came to the right venue😉 , and many had questions about our new side pools. So here's a quick 'useful info' post.
Our new venue is the Rose & Crown pub. in South Ealing. If you haven't been in a while come try it out. We like it!
The kitchen takes last food orders at 8.45pm, so don't let your hunger linger!
Last month's blog explained the new side pools system. It's still bedding in, so let us know your thoughts. If you want to know how much money you could win just take a look at Backgammon Hub. Once a tournament has started you can click on the trophy symbol ("Standings") and see all the people in your group and the pools they've entered (the bronze £ means £10, silver £ is £20, and gold £ is £30). Top player in each pool gets 70% of that pool, second player in each pool gets the remaining 30%.
